Retired marine chief engineer , i have completely refurbed this lathe.completely stripped down and cleaned and honed ..

I spent about 50 hours on the lathe and it is now in very good working condition. The motor is a vickers 1420 rpm 240v.

I tested the motor and it shows 7 mega ohms on the windings which is v good..
