Top quality Clarkson of York vertical steam engine. Fitted with Victorian style displacemnt lubricator, globe steam inlet, valve and tallow type clyinder lubricator. Engine is perfectly machined. Clarkson of York are long gone and these engines are quite a rarity. This particular one has some unusual and very high quality fittings on it. The engine has stephensons reverse gear with "ships wheel" type wheel to operate the reverse. It is a really great period engine.T otal height is 17in. lywheel is 6in.dia. Both bore and stroke are approx 1 3/4in.
