Unique 2.5�scale burrell 10 ton road locomotive. i have for sale a guaranteed only example of a newly built (after 25years construction) 2.5�scale burrell 10 ton road locomotive compound double crankshaft,having three gears. she is extremely large and heavy - 50� long and bigger than most 3�scale models. silver soldered copper boiler, twin injectors, etc. etc. the model is built to supreme exhibition winner standard by the most remarkable of model engineers. built from full size drawings and no commercial castings used at all. the builder made all his own patterns and castings. i understand that there is no longer a burrell of this type in full size still in existence. the last remaining one was converted into a showman�s. the model has just been released from the builder�s workshop and now has a full current boiler certificate.

Digital Readout For Your Lathe

FROM WEBSITE OWNER If you are thinking of fitting a digital readout (DRO) to your lathe I would like to recommend you contact machine-dro.co.uk I have a myford super 7 and decided to fit a DRO to it. Fitting the transverse scale was straightfoward but not so for the x-slide. I looked at all the options as to where best to fit it and finally opted to fit to the Lt.hand side of the slide. machine-dro.co.uk supply a micro scale which enabled me to do this. I am not connected to this company in anyway but have to say they were a good choice to buy from and having the use of this accessory is extreemly useful. As a keen hobbyist model engineer I would be more than happy to tell you how I fitted mine if you need any help. There is no set way to instal but machine-dro.co.uk do supply a fixing guide for the ML7 (this can also be seen on their website) but I found this was not the best option for the Super 7. hence did it differently.
