Late Victorian Motor Or Dynamo

Barn condition open pole dynamo or motor, very pretty one believed to be late victorian. It is has a cast iron case so is very heavy. it appears to be complete with the brushes and wiring and turns over freely. it would make a very nice item if someone has the time to restore it. as you can see, it has more than its fair share of rust but still a very worthy project for a collector of these quite rare early dynamo/motors. very heavy so postage approx �25

Scale Model Of Smith Rodley Steam Crane

This is an impressive scale model of a Smith Rodley travelling steam crane c.1860. The model is almost certainly a demonstration model taken to various industrial sites so as potential buyers could see all its functions in steam. It has twin cylinders and stephensons reverse gear.Beautiful rivitted vertical boiler with all the goodies on it,identical to the original crane.Other functions include both wheels driven by bevelled gears under the chassis (both foward and reverse), gear driven turntable,gear driven lifting jib and hook.Everything is steam driven. This model originated in Barrow Infurness and I have owned and enjoyed it for several years but it is now time to make way for other bits. It is complete but does need a couple of pipes connecting and jib etc. re-roped. There are lots of interesting gears , levers, pedal brakes etc to play with.Not a small model ~ height to top of boiler 26in. Jib 22in.Truly rare object to even see leave alone be able to buy.It is certainly an historic model which really should be in a museum.An aritcle on the full size crane was featured in the Nov.2007 edition of 'Classic Plant and Machinery' a copy of which I have.
