5 Inch Gauge Jubilee

This is a winson jubilee, built up to kit 16 of 18. kits 17/18 are complete and accompany the loco, along with relevant paperwork. there is an expired boiler certificate with it. the loco was not as easy to construct as winson claimed, and had to be re-worked in some details. however, it was successfully tested on air at the factory prior to closure and ran smoothly in forward and reverse. the test was conducted with air to all 3 cylinders, and then repeated feeding air to each cylinder in turn, and the loco ran well on each one. reason for sale - i have developed a back problem, and the loco is far too heavy for me to manage now. even if i complete it, i am never going to be able to use it. the purpose-built stand is not included in the price, but is also for sale if wanted. it is raised and lowered on a scissors principle and also has detachable jacks to allow the loco to be raised and rotated through 360 degrees.

The boiler was built in 1980 by Mr Don Brook of Dewsbury, one of the best boiler builders in the uk. it is as new and never been fitted to a locomotive it also comes complete with original boiler test certificate with details: hydraulic test pressure 160 psi, steam test pressure 100 psi, working pressure 80 psi, date of construction december 1980.

Part Built 5 In.guage Enterprise

This is an almost fully machined casting kit for a 5in. enterprise. i am selling this on behalf of an elderly friend who has run out of time with his numerous projects. all components are fully machined except for those in the last picture shown with the full set of plans (which are very clean).components completed can only be described as exquisite.absolute top dollar machining.everything has been carefully greased and stored in bags so no rust. work to do is valves and motion work. unwrapping these bits is like xmas all over again. can be viewed and closely examined prior to purchase. any detailed pics can be taken if there is any part you want to see close up.
